THOSE ARE THE MOST DRAMATIC PANCAKE I’VE EVER SEEN.
I would use that dreamy eyes plate for every damn meal
These are the covers of Lucky Peach 8: The Gender Issue.
Betwixt these two covers we fumble with issues of gender like unsure 8th graders cautiously groping each other in the sparkle of a disco ball as a slow jam plays at the school dance. Ben Shewry talks about being a dad. Alice Waters talks about being a chef. Bourdain drops some lovely fiction. A lady named Poochie uses a lot of strong language. Sequential hermaphroditism is discussed.

Lucky Peach (San Francisco, CA, USA)
Looove this Lucky Peach cover!!
Milk fluff! With sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips and blueberries.
After seeing C.B Cebulski’s post, I had to go get a bowl of wonton noodle soup while I was out today! It’s been one of my favorite dishes as a kid so I’m a bit picky when it comes to wontons but it was all delicious. There were whole shrimp in them too! If you see WONTON graffiti outside, you know you’re at the right place.
Dinner at The Public House.
Bacon wrapped tator tots with chiptole ketchup & roasted pork tenderloin.
Decided to make a batch of Puppy Chow/Muddy Buddies for everyone at work today! I decided to make it a bit fancy and used Chocolate Chex instead of regular Chex, semi-sweet chocolate chips, Reese’s Peanut Butter chips instead of peanut butter and then coated it all on powdered sugar. I also threw in some extra peanut butter chips. Brian finally came home after being away from me for months in Ireland and assisted in the shaking part of the process. Mmmm…
