Another polaroid from when the Johnny Cupcakes Suitcase Tour stopped in New York.
So this happened tonight.
New York was the first stop of the Johnny Cupcakes Suitcase Tour. I got to interview Johnny and hang around the store as they set up before doors.
I showed up around 7pm with a line already down the block and a little before 8pm someone says “you guys need to see this!” As we peek out the door we see an estimate of about 500 people, I’m not even exaggerating. They ended up breaking the line into separate ones that went all the way down Howard and Crosby. It was pretty bananas.
Johnny is probably one of the most humble people I’ve ever met and was honored to have finally met him since I really look up to him, his brand and his creativity.
I can’t wait to see what he does next.
